Default Phonetics guide

Hello everyone!
Greetings from Mysore, India.
Is there a simple guide on phonetic teaching which can be downloaded? I need such a guide to facilitate learning of Spoken English among very poor children studying in village schools.
Thanks in advance!
Soundar
