Seems the company itself is British but the name sounds not quite English ??? Which language could this name be derived from ??? Would it be German (bearing in mind Germany's well-known for furniture industry) ??? |

| You've got me on this one- I would have pronounced the 'm' there. I'll ask around and see if I can find out. |

| I was in the Costwolds and thought that 'Bicester' might be pronounced byesester- place names are murder. And then there's always 'Cholmondley'. |
