em - ploy - ee. I normally stress the second syllable - ploy, unless I want to make it very clear that I am talking about an employee and not an employer, in which case I stress ee.

Others may have different stresses.:-) I am a BE speaker.

em-ploy-ee : the stress is on -ee.
