| Kubberd = kVb.@d is the RIGHT pronunciation & NOT the "cup.bord", since the stress is in the 1st syllable & you tend to use neutral vowel "@" in the 2nd syllable & NOT the "o" vowel. |

| I think that Cupboard is pronunciated like this: /K^bo:d/ /p/ is assimilated into b (same place of articulation) |
