Default Pronunication of Kevin vs Kelvin

Hi, everybody, I am new here, nice to meet you all!

I would like to ask for the difference between the pronunciation the names Kevin and Kelvin, is it only with the 'l' sound?

Many thanks.

Regards
m2m

Yes. "Kelvin" has a definite "L" sound (KELL-vin), while "Kevin" doesn't ("KEH-vin)."

Yes, the difference is simply the "l". Both have a lax /E/.
