Hello,
I agree with you that learning English sounds is a frustrating activity to foreigners. At least, try to speak English with an understandable accent.Later, you will get more familiar to English sounds.
Remember,Practice makes perfect.

Don´t you worry about that, and you know why? because I've passed through the same problems you have. Try not get peeved everytime you cannot pronunciate some words, just relax and try to do that over and over again. I don't master english yet, but it´s my goal until the end of 2007. By the way you espeak chinese (Mandarim) don't you? I assure you I would take a millenium to learn something from your language, take it easy, you can make it. Happy new year.

Do not worry! I'm sure we all have the same prob! I have the pronunciation in my mind but my tongue doesn't seem to care to obey...Someone once told me that a good way to learn is to exaggerate the accent and sounds, as if you were making fun of it.
Personally, I find the book "How now, brown cow" (by M. Ponsonby) pretty handy!

I guess you could try in specialized bookshops...Have no clue where to get it in China! Where do you normally get your learning books?
