Diphthong [ai]: CCVC thrive !Note, diphthongs can occur in closed syllables.
Diphthong [ai]: CVC live (adjective)
Lax Vowel [I : CVC live (verb)
Lax Vowel [I : VC-CVC-CVC incentive

Please note, there's no end bracket on the symbol [I. (If I add a closing bracket the symbol [I would show up as [i], a tense vowel. Sorry for the inconvenience. )
