Welcome, dtommy.

I don't have IPA at the moment, so I hope this will help:

ear as in ear
ri as in rip
tay as in stay
ting as in sting
ly as in Lee

All the best.

I don't have IPA so I can't read your transcription, but I can make some of it out.

The first vowel should be mid lax I.
The second vowel should also be mid lax I or schwa.
The third vowel is a diphthong eI. <Sorry, my symbol I is too big>
The forth vowel should be mid lax I also.
The rest I can see and it looks very good.

Well done.

I pronounce these words as follows:

regularization //reg.jc.lcr.awU¤ew.•cn/
Please note: The /¤/ should really be the small capital Z as in <zip>. The /r/ in /lcr/ & the /n/ in /•cn/ could be syllabic and the schwa becomes a superscript schwa.

justifiability /vs.tw.faw.c0bw.lw.ti+/

Thanks for the IPA typewriter. Here are my transcriptions. (Note, the symbol /r/ should be upside down)

regularization /rɜː'gjuː'lɒr'aɪ'zeɪ'ʃən/

justifiability /jə'stɪ'faɪ'ɪ'bɪl'ɪtiː/

All the best.

This is Canadian. The BE differences are:

regularization: first vowel, phonemically, /e/; phonetically, I did this stuff too long ago!

justifiability: Casi - are you sure of the first consonant? I'd make it /ʤ/

first vowel: /ʌ/

triphthong: /aɪə/ though the schwa is sometimes realized as /ɪ/

I can type IPA but I can't read it on this forum. It's all square boxes on my end. Help. To me, the first vowel in justifiability can be a wedge (an upside-down "v") or a schwa. What did I write above? I can't see. It's a box.

Sorry. I'll use the IPA Typewriter. (I stopped using it because MikeNY couldn't read it, and now normally use Lucida Sans Unicode - which ought to work for everyone, but obviously doesn't.)
