do you like to be woken up by birds? I don't. It's because the birds that wake me are not chirping. their screeching. as in screeching. as if they are fighting.

That can be very annoying. I am usually awakened by the trucks and jeepneys that pass by our house. I like the sound of the wood being chopped in the morning. That is the sound that we only hear in the country/province.

ohh, yes. i love that, too. especially if the guy chopping the wood is shirtless and a hunk of a farmer.

Huh?! Really now, blouen... I like the sound of trumpets. I like the sound of a motherīs lullaby and the voice of a grandmother telling stories to her grandchildren. There are a lot of good sounds that is being forgotten or neglected to notice because of our preoccupied minds. I wish we could find sometime to think of those things especially during rainy days. Hey, itīs rainy season in our country guys!
