| Pronounce <–ed> as /d/ after voiced sounds and /wd/ or /əd/ after <t> and <d>. For example, <-ed> in ‘blessed’ is pronounce as /wd/ or /əd/; <ted> in ‘wasted’ as /twd/; <ded> in ‘ended’ as /dwd/; <-ed> in ‘played’ as /d/ and so on. |
