Default sound of "ed"

Dear teachers and friends,

We usually pronounced "ed" as "d sound" after the verbs that ended with "d" or "t", but when should we pronounce "ed" as "t sound"?

The pronunciation of regular verbs which end in the sounds 'c', 'k', 'sh ' or 'ch' have this 't' sound. For example:
washed, splashed, wished
asked, thanked, kicked
stitched, ditched

How about the situations that we don't pronounce as "t" sound? What sound will be pronounced?

Pronounce <–ed> as /d/ after voiced sounds and /wd/ or /əd/ after <t> and <d>. For example, <-ed> in ‘blessed’ is pronounce as /wd/ or /əd/; <ted> in ‘wasted’ as /twd/; <ded> in ‘ended’ as /dwd/; <-ed> in ‘played’ as /d/ and so on.
