| Usually, but with the vowel between reduced in stress, so they often seem elided. Even more common = Secretary is pronounced seketary. |

| Yeah, the "r" most words is elided for quick read/speech |

| It is also that the letter "r" is not easy to say, and so there is a tendency to lose it. |
