| The Canadian pronunciation is quite consistent in that the “z” is pronounced as ‘ts” in the word “Alzheimer”. What is not consistent is the “a” in the first syllable which may be transcribed as /Z/ (as in “or”), /F/ (as in “hat”) or /]+/ (as in all). The "h" is in the second syllable. |
