Dear bright one

I am not sure what you mean but the pronunciation of the sound is always the same , accents may differ but sounds are sounds, aren't they!!!

No, I mean what you have put is mostly, if I am not wrong, associated with British English phonetic symbols. To be more clear, when I search in webster's Dictionary, I found most of them different from what I know or what you put!

I'mnot quite sure about that, but as far as I remember, Webster is an American dictionary... and Americans prefer doing things their way I mean, many American dictionries do ot use IPA, they created their own phonetic alphabet instead. This may be the case, but somebody should check it..
Hope it helps,
S~

Yes, you are right. And because of what you have said that they prefer to show their own way in English I believe there are many sites or such things to represent these sounds!

Waiting for an American!
