Can you tell me where the stress falls on the words:
Implemented and implementing

In both words, it falls on the first syllable. (American English)

(not a professional teacher) In NZ English, I would agree with that for the primary stress, but we say both words like this:

IMpleMENTed and IMpleMENTing, with a clear secondary stress on "ment". This contrasts with the word IMplement, as a noun meaning "tool" which for us has only that primary stress. As a verb, IMpleMENT is not uncommon
