To have a special accent or to speak fluently

Peace be upon you dear members
I always think about the accent as well as speaking English
Up to now , I have no idea about both of them .i.e. Is it important to have an accent or just to speak English fluently without an accent ???
For me , I speak American and British accent and I can't distinguish between them Coz I'm still beginner , So is it wrong to do that ??? I think , we should focus on speaking fluently more than special accent
I need your help dear friends , can you guide me and I will be thankful

Everyone has an accent. It just means the way you sound when you speak – your pronunciation.
You probably should decide where you are going to learn your spoken English mostly, and stick to one pronunciation at the beginning.

Actually your idea very important ,and it's important to have accent .
but as you can see we study Br accent .....
and American accent very common more than Br one ...
coz we see that in movies and American channels on T.V ...
and BR need finesse in pronunciation ,so students prefer American accent to Br one .
Actually I slant to American accent ...............

This point is worth repeating. Follow Raymott's excellent advice to choose a pronunciation pattern relevant to your needs, be that British English, American English, Australian English, or any other variant, and stick to that one pattern while learning. Whichever variant you learn, your own accent will still come through anyway.

This is very true.
Although, in many countries people speak very fluently as long as their confidence and vocabulary is concerned, but they don't have any type of ENglish speaking country pronunciation.
