[General] Could y'all gimme some suggestions for the 'stress' and 'accent' in English?

Without doubt that English pronunciation is one very important part of speaking skills.
And the nonstandard pronunciation would interfere with listening.
Well,I gotta admit that my English pronunciation sucks so far.
In fact the problem about English word stress that troubles me all along.
Moreover,how can I memorize the accents of A LARGE NUMBER OF English vocabularies?
Are there any rules to follow for the grave accent?
Look,I have been hurting for mastering English listening skills.
So gimme some suggestions please and let me know it well to the hilt.

Stress is a very important part of speaking! Unfortunately it's also a very big subject.

There is a free trailer for The Rhythm of English, our educational video on word and sentence stress, on youtube here. It starts to cover some of the material that you are looking for.

Not sure quite what you mean by "grave accent" - could you explain further?

Is this what you are talking about?:

The grave accent is most often used in English in poetry and song lyrics. It indicates that a vowel usually silent is to be pronounced, in order to fit the rhythm or meter. Most often, it is applied to a word ending with -ed. For instance, the word looked is usually pronounced /lʊkt/ as a single syllable, with the e silent; when written as lookèd, the e is pronounced /ˈlʊkɪd/ (look-ed). It can also be used in this capacity to distinguish certain pairs of identically spelled words like the past tense of learn, learned /lɜː(r)nd/, from the adjective learnèd /ˈlɜː(r)nɪd/.
