Post Very Imporatnat piont in Phonetics, it's Syllable? Give me excercises to practice?

When someone want to learn English phonetics, first he should start with IPA and after that he should know the main terms of Phonetics like: stress, syllable, intonation,....etc. the important one is Syllable.
I'm ok with syllable, but I only need to practice it more by some exercises, please send me exercises on this topic. One more thing, Give more Information about "Onset", "Peak", and "Coda".
