How much do you already know?

Of course lisening can improve your pronunciation alot if you can imitate as closely as possible what you are lisening to.

well as it said there are many thing that you could do. you can watch movies and listen to music which sing clear like Sting, Back Street Boys, West life, Chris De Burgh many others who you know, try to learn the phonetic symbol and use the dictionary as the main source for pronunciation, try not to copy the pronunciation of the other poeple.

good luck

If your computer's operation system is Windows Vista, you should install the freeware that's helpful in improving your pronunciation and listening skills. IF you are using XP, you can take advantage of it too, but you need to find a third party English voice.

However the English language is not dominated in Algeria (my country) as Arabic and French that are more spoken, but I improve myself in all the English language skills, for pronunciation too.
My secret is not something wizard , I just read a lot of books, I liseten for English music, and I speak it usually because if anyone wants to learn any language he must speak it.
