| Some people will accept it; some won't. The important thing is whether they understand you or not. The Japanese pronunciation of /r/ and /l/ usually causes problems only when there is ambiguity. |

| That is not a problem with my English pronunciation thanks to the length of time I was there, and the ages I was when I was there. It's just that fine point I thought I should be careful about. I tend to say "awwwright!" for "all right!" It rubbed off on me. I thought, as a grown-up, I may have to be extra careful. |
