choose:
we should .....that plant to the wall to stop it from falling. (fix-tie)
but of course we say
the people of Lilliput tied Gulliver to the ground so that he couldn't escape.
I guess that tie is correct for the first question, but the position vertically , I need some explanation with the correct answer

It is difficult to "tie" something to a wall. When someone is tied to the ground, the ropes have to be anchored to something projecting from the ground.

That's true, but when people attach a trellis to a garden wall and then tie tall plants to the trellis, they probably describe it as tying their plants to the wall. My mum does!

Do you think that I should'nt have used comma after thanks.

bhai meant that you shouldn't have left a space between "thanks" and comma.

That's one of the three slips bhai was referring to.

There are a missing article, a misplaced apostrophe, missing quotation marks and an incorrect punctuation mark in that sentence. As a teacher, you really must try to write correct English in this forum.

Thanks so much for your comments but does the spacing affect the meaning ?
See you soon with many confusing questions that still bother me;-)

When people come to this forum, they expect posts submitted by English teachers to be models of good English. Mistakes in spacing are mistakes, and need to be pointed out so that learners do not get the wrong impression.
