Whenever there is a discussion about/on books, somebody will inadvertently mention classics.

Can I use either pronoun?

Many thanks, 5jj, for pointing out the mistake. It should be a preposition. I don't why I am often careless. It's part of aging, I suppose. :-?
 
I wonder whether you mean inevitably instead of inadvertently.

I rarely accidentally blurt out something about a classic.
