We are born into this world without bringing anything with us, and we will leave empty-handed too. We have been repeating the cycle of birth and death countless number of times.

1. Is 'with us' correct?

2. Are there any errors in the sentences?

Thanks.

1. Is 'with us' correct? Yes

2. Are there any errors in the sentences? Not as such, but I am not sure about the second sentence. If we are born and die once, we cannot really 'have been repeating the cycle of birth and death'.
I'll have to think about that.

Thanks, Fivejedjon.

It is about reincarnation, I believe.

I liked the line as well.

After you responded to my post, I edited the second sentence as follows and that, I believe, is what causes you to wonder why the cycle of birth and death is repeated.

We have been repeating the cycle of birth and death countless number of times.

Then it is fine, though 'number' should be plural - I didn't spot that first time round.
Thanks, Fivejedjon.
Regarding the above sentence in bold, do you mean that I should use 'cycles' instead of 'cycle'?

That's fine. I think 'cycles'is possible, though I prefer the singular 'cycle'

I think the simplest would be: We have been repeating the cycle of birth and death countless times.

However, that is a matter of personal taste, not of correctness.

ps. Much of my original doubt was simply my obtuseness - I didn't think of reincarnation.
