If you have enough knowledge of English Grammar you can design it on "powr point 2003" and make hyperlinks....

While presenting any grammar rule, introduce them in the form of an activity and then provide them the context and then ultimately come to the rule..

Thumbs up Re: Creative ideas..

I will provide an example to example for an activity to explain and teach action verbs and stative verbs.

Active verbs are verbs which express an action, ex walk, sing, talk, eat, etc

Stative verbs are verbs which express a state of being, ex. know, believe, cost, need, etc.

Normally the stative verbs do not have progressive (ing) form.

Give your student any common action verb and explain it to inact in front of the class, without spelling it or mouthing it. The task is that he has to explain the word in front of the class only with gestures zipping his mouth, and class needs to guess the word.

Next give him a stative verbs to perform the same task of explaining the word with only gestures.

Now ask him which was more tough. Obvisously as the action verb represents an action, it is easier to enact and gesticulate, however stative verbs which express a state of being are states and no action is associate to they are very tough to express with gestures..

If you want I can suggest/mail you a few activity books to teach and practice grammar.
