Headway vs Cutting Edge

I would like to start a thread comparing these popular series. I have used Headway quite a lot, especially in the upper ranges, and like it. However I have also heard good things about Cutting Edge (which I have never used). Any comments by people here who have experience of either or both would be greatly appreciated.

One problem with Headway is that it has been used so widely that it has become something of a cliché.

I have noticed a certain boredom with it on the part of teachers - I would be interested to know if that is shared by students. Personally I used it mainly when it was still quite new, so this didn't really apply.
