Curriculum
I have been frantically looking everywhere on the internet for the past few days to find a curriculum to follow for my students. Currently I am teaching 8th grade students. One group of students is new to the country thus new to the language. They have little to no exposure to language. The group that I need some form of curriculum for is my mandarin bilingual class. I have them for English and I have no idea what to teach them. Their proficiencies are extremely varied ( from advanced speakers to beginning speakers and intermediate and beginning readers and writers). I cannot seem to find a curriculum that fits the general needs and that allows for considerable differentiation.
Does anyone have a curriculum they would be able to share. This is my first year teaching this level of students so I am rather stressed and exhausted from my search. I would really appreciate if someone would be able to share their schools curriculum for ESOL.
Thank you!
