I'm looking to get some formal qualification for TEFL to improve my teaching ability as well as the benefit of having some sort of recognised qualification. I can't afford to pay for a CELTA course right now. A friend was mentioing the TKT as a cheap alternative. Is the TKT worth doing and if so what materials do I need. Is the The TKT Course Modules 1, 2 and 3 Book enough? Or do I need the TKT Course Training Activities CD-ROM also.
