    Default "to wish" in structures

    What cases is used inversion with the verb "to wish" in?
    Is it correct to say so: "I wish did you come home"? As I know in British I would say: "I wish you came home". It means I am upset that you you are not at home. What about American English?

    We wouldn't invert there.
