hello,
I have some problem to understand this subject... please help me..
i am writing here some examples about that ,
1) being paid monthly , i find annual bills hard to pay
2) i love being given flowers
i dont understand meaning "being" in this sentences ..Please help me.

The 'being' of #1 is a participle, and the phrase here means 'Because I am paid monthly,...'. That of #2 is a gerund, and the sentence means 'I like it when I am given flowers (by someone)'.
