Any English programs in the US?
Hi.
I came to the US and I want to know if there any good English programs in the US?

Re: Any English programs in the US?
It's quite common today to have British stars in US TV programs (House, Lie to Me, Homeland, one of the Star Trek series...), but British programs tend to get remade for the US market (Whose Line is it Anyway?, Life on Mars...).
(No help, I'm afraid. Wait until people wake up in your timezone.)

I must assume (and I know the associated cliche) that you refer to TV programs and not instructional English programs. In my area of the U.S.and I suspect in other areas, PBS (Public Broadcasting System) TV stations do carry British English "soap operas" on a regular basis e.g. "The East Enders". Some stations also carry selected BBC news broadcasts nightly.
