Smile How to teach English to non-English native Speakers

Hello! Im Virginia Bucar of Philippines. I am presently teaching English language in one of the voch-tech schools here. I just wonna ask some strategies that would help non-English learners effectively learn English. I have been using Translation method but I need to know more ways in teaching my students.
I hope somebody would care giving thier insights for me.

I think the most important thing is not the method but the students' attitude toawrd and relationship with their teacher. If you're dynamic, keen, entertaining and always have time for them, they'll learn and want to speak. Someone said that the teacher is an architect of environment and that where the environment created allows learning, then it will take place.
