It depends on what you mean. If you want to say you left a cigarette which was already burnt and there is no need to worry: "I left a cigarette burnt in the storeroom" is correct. And if you want to say you left a cigarette which is still burning and you should worry because it can start a fire: "I left a cigarette in the storeroom burning" is correct.
