help!

Hi! I have a student who confuses present simple with present perfect. I have to design activity to help him practice it (spekaning task). I think of giving them cards with prompts like: WORK- where? How long? Since when? LIVES IN...Where?How long? Since when? and asking them to mingle and interview each other. Do you have any better ideas? Any help will be much appreciated.
