Has anyone any experience of organising a school trip from mainland EU to the UK? My main stumbling block is accommodation. We are thinking of coming by coach, from Zeebrugge to Hull, then returning one week later via Dover-Calais. Any assistance much appreciated

I see. Well, they'll learn about the Carry On side of Brityish life. I don't have any real experience of such things. I did once take 75 Taiwanese students on atrain somewhere. On the way back, the other teacher jumped out at an earlier station that was near his home, taking the tickets with him, which left me the uneviable job of having to blag my way out of having 75 students and no tickets.

The kind people at the YHA are helping I hope there's no blagging involved and I'm sure no trains... (I have a bit of an issue with trains ever since my cousin, who was an avid spotter, was run over by the Flying Scotsman. He was chuffed to bits...)
