Re: Graphic English, Anyone?
yep. that's my question. are you familiar with graphic English? example:
0
________
Ed. D
Ph. D
M.A
=this actually means 3 degrees below 0.
This illustration, sometimes boxed, show common English phrases that one tries to figure out just by looking at it. It just that I don't see it here in the site.

Maybe it's not mentioned on this site for lack of pedagogical value - although maybe you could base an activity on it for Advanced learners.

It's because many Language teachers here in the Philippines esp. in grade school use this to enhance pupils' awareness of common English idioms, sayings, etc. It's fun at the same time adds to learning.

There are more here, Trivia challenges, word games, brain teasers & activities for training & meetings (scroll down to where it says More Brain Teasers), and there appears to be a 100 more or so here, Brain Teasers Answer (I like the scambled eggs one).

Anything which graphical helps learning and our memories. We often use graphs and diagrams to explain language phenomena in general. If you mean sth else please elaborate a bit. I thinks this is an interesting issue and deserves more analysis.

... but maybe in another forum. Ask a Teacher is where learners ask teachers questions. (Hence my initial confusion.)
