I am afraid that the answer is probably not- they may well fall under copyright. Is there any copyright message on them?

I'll copy it and paste it from my book. Is that banned?

I see nothing wrong with it unless (as Tdol mentioned) the lessons are copyrighted. I would like to see them.

(The word can used in making a request is quite informal and is usually used in speech and not used much in writing.)

Hi Ron

I remember having the opportunity to hear my English teacher engaged in a dialogue with one of my classmates [many years ago]:

Pupil : Teacher, can I open the window?

Teacher : Yes, you can, but you may not!

[ it was a chilly day and our teacher had a bad cold]

Exactly!
Yes, it is possible. It was a real opportunity for my teacher to put two modal verbs in practice:can and may. It was a good example and I use it in my English classes, whenever I have to explain the difference between can and may
