Default ICT Resource for Teaching English

Hello all,

Here is a simple ICT resource that I have made and placed on my website.

You simply type in a sentence and the software will turn each word into a 'magnet' which pupils can drag and drop around the stage.

I thought it might be useful for sentence construction, word order and so on.

If it is useful to you then please let me know.

Thank you,

David

Thanks, David. This site looks really interesting. It would be really useful for adjective ordering, question formation word order etc. German speaking learners of English would find this particularly useful.

That's great news Clare!

I hope that teachers are able to make use of my resources in their lessons,

David

Good stuff on this site. Is the software likely to be available as a package so teachers can tailor classroom activities for particular language areas?
I'm looking forward to thinking up ways to get my students to use this.

Hello Chris,

Thanks for your questions.

Teachers can contact me if they think there is anything on the site that they would like to use in their classrooms.

All of the quiz games on my site use the same question format. Therefore, when you create a set of questions, you can save it and use it on any of the quiz games. I was hoping that my forum could become a place for teachers to share the question sets that they create. If a few TEFL teachers did this, there would soon be a 'pool' of resources that would no doubt be useful to lots of different teachers.

That was the plan anyway!

One of the most popular quiz games with my own students is called 'Take It or Leave It'. You can play a demo here: Take It or Leave It Demo

If people have any questions about my resources, they can email me. My address is on my website: XML Education: Free ICT Resources for Teachers

I am a full-time teacher too but I will try answer all emails as soon as possible.

Thanks,

David
