Where are you?
For one of my lessons I would like my pupils to go chatting with English speaking pupils. Do you think it is possible?
Are there any teachers here who would like to try this with their pupils and mine? The only problem is that this can be during my first lesson ( between 8.15 and 9.30 ).
Where are you?
Although this doesn't offer chat with native speakers online, it's a good place for learners to chat together at this bbc site:
BBC World Service | Learning English | Communicate
I've only tried getting students to chat on-line once in lesson time - it's quite difficult to moderate and to make students feel that they are getting something useful from the experience that they couldn't just get for themselves on second life or other similar sites.
If you try it, tell us how you get on with it!

I am in the Netherlands.
I would like to give it a try though there is a problem that there are not enough computers so I will have to reserve a few weeks in advance. I think it can be useful as they will have to write in English....
