need help

hi ,
it's my first post here .As a teacher I'm looking for reading a passage to use it in my test.I teach grade 10 and I'm currently using the Garnet series English skills. The passage should be related to the themes in the bookwhich are about art and literature,sports and leisure,nutrition and health and the last one is about inventions and inventors.
Could you please help find a descriptive passage related to the these themes??
