Activities in Reading Achievements
I am a new teacher in teaching reading. Although I know lots of method to improve the reading ability, such as skimming, scanning, and theories, I still find myself lost in teaching how to apply this method to the practical teaching. What kinds of activities and games I can use to organize the class, and then make students feel more comfortable to use those methods in their reading?
Thank you !

:hi: Hello
Ideas. What are the students' ideas about what they have read? How can they put those ideas into their own words? Of course, this entails that they be able to agree or disagree with the author's or character's point of view. Is what they have read applicable to their lives? If they were the author how would they structure the reading, start the reading and/or end the reading? Creativity. Reading opens up a whole new world, one in which a student's imagination is permitted to wander freely. Get students thinking about the writing process, and by doing this they will become better readers.
