Callan Method Hi people!!!
I'm study english by method Callan... The 6 months ago I started my course...
Is there anybody here who to know everything about this method? What's your opinion about this method?

Re: Callan Method Like many methods it makes big claims, but these are hard to prove and I have my doubts that it is four times faster as I think they say. I saw a video of a Callan Method lesson and I couldn't really see anything that distinctive about it; it looked much like a standard Direct Method classroom drill. If it suits your style of learning, stay with it.

Teacher Re: Callan Method I agree with TDOL. The only thing I can think of to add is that some people find that they progress quickly at low levels with Direct Method classes but then their progress slows down and they benefit from switching to a more eclectic method, i.e. one that uses more of a variety of ways of learning the language
