Default How to teach simple future tense for 8-9 year old ESL learners

I would like to collect ideas on developing some interesting activities for my class (Primary 3, 8-9 years old). The language item is on simple future tense. At the end of the lesson (duration: 35 minutes). students are able to talk about what they will do tomorrow/on the weekend... Activities for the whole class/pair work/group work and games are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Maybe you can have the students work in pairs. You can give them instructions to find five activities that the other person will do during the weekend. Then, before class ends, everyone can tell the class what their partner will do during the weekend ("Billy will go to the movies. He will also study, ...").
