I'm not sure I understand your request. Your question is headed "Spelling", yet you're asking about how to lead into a lesson on clothing vocabulary? But then you add that you're not teaching this but rather observing the lesson. I am confused so if my suggestion below doesn't help you'll understand why that is.

What about leading in with having the students describe what someone else is wearing?

It's spelling about the clothes. I mean by observation that someone is going to observe me . As for your suggestion it's great but in our school all the children are wearing one uniform.
thanks alot for your caring and please answer me back

I think our confusion comes from the fact that you've spelled those words correctly and a dictionary will serve as a better tool than an online forum for checking such things.

How do you teach spelling for any set of words? Is there a reason this is different?

Oh, I see. I should have thought of that. Sorry.

Leading in
The purpose of a lead-in is to motivate learners to want to know more about the topic by giving them an activity about something they already know and can accomplish successfully.

If the topic is spelling and the theme clothes, then starting off with a spelling game is one way to go.
  1. Have students form pairs or small groups,
  2. Give them a list a words (on the board):
    • the majority of words on the list should come from themes other than clothing, and they should be words the students already know or should know how to spell,
    • some of the words should be from the theme clothing,
    • most of the words should be spelt correctly,
    • some of the words should be spelt incorrectly.
  3. Have the pairs/groups work together to find and correct the words that are misspelled.
  4. Have one person from each pair/group switch places with another pair/groups so they can compare their findings.
  5. The teacher elicits the pair/group findings and provides corrections, insight, additional information, and then introduces the lesson topic.
Hope that helps.
