Question Is the weekend TEFL course a good option?

I'm preparing to go abroad this summer for a year 'Down under' / Asia.
I've been a teacher in the Netherlands for nearly six years now, and would like to have the option to teach in Australia or Asia too. Searching for hours and hours online I finally have a better idea of the differences and think that a TEFL or TESOL (which occurs more in Canada, America, Australia) is the best option for me.

I've found a weekend course for a 20h TEFL course or will perhaps take the 40h one. I'm clueless when it comes to the right international accreditation. Can anyone help me out?
What do you think about the next course, I would like to attend it in Sydney
Best,
Zyra
