Default can anyone give me some advise on adult education?

My major is English and now I will ba a graduate this July.I find a job to teach adult English and they have nothing on the basic knowedge of English.Please tell me where should I start.Thanks in advance.

"Advise" is a verb.

you have to teach them through a system
you suppose to begain wih alphabet

I think it would depend on why your students want to learn English. In other words, is it vacation or vocation (travel or a job?)? In any case, won't you have to teach them conversational English?

Thank you!The pronounciation is a big problem.Although I have tried my best to tell them how to pronounce and let them imitate,the effect isn't that good.

They learn English to take part in exam.In China,as all know,it pay much attention to the record of formal schooling and the various of certificates.The more you own,the higher your wages will be.So many adults begin to learn English to get certain certainficate.
