and I want to ask you about the rule of "how + adj "

1-how can I introduce it to my students?

2-and if I have an answer about a cold area..and I want them to make a question using "how+adj"
which adjective is appropriate to use?hot or cold ?and why?

How heavy is the box?

How cold is winder in your country?
OR,
How hot is it in summer?
Weather can be both hot or cold...so both are correct.
