concordancing searches

I am just trying to investigate the use of word THIN using concordancing software. I am to look for every instance of that word. Well, using wildcard *
I obtain words like think or thing. How could I modify my search to exclude them from results.

If you use thin*, you are searching for every word that begins with those four letters. If you remove *, it should work. It does in sites like British National Corpus (BYU-BNC) where the default is to search for the word or phrase you type.
