Teachers, what is the meaning of this opening for Eluards' poem:
‘You Rise the Water Unfolds’ ?
It might make more sense in context- what are the next few lines?
~ You rise the water unfolds
You sleep the water flowers
You are water ploughed from its depths
You are earth that takes root
And in which all is grounded ~
I think the over all is one metaphor, but it's kind of hard to grasp the first line.
