Hi,
Can anyone help, I'm analysing a children's book according to functional grammar, for e.g. I have to dissect each clause and identify the subject, finite (verb group) and the residue (adjunct, complement etc). I'm stuck with this clause (if it is even a clause, it's all terribly confusing to me)
'She made eyes for him, a nose and a smiling mouth all of currants and placed more currants down his front to look like buttons' - is all of that one clause? and what's the subject???
Please help! urgently!!! thank you!!![]()
