Help me to analyze these very hard maxims
Hi ..
please i need your help:
*Joys impregnate. Sorrows bring forth.
*The rat, th mouse, the fox,the rabbit watch the roots; the lion, the tiger, the horse, the elephent, watch fruits.
*Always be ready to speak your mind, and a base man will avoid you.
*The eagle never lost so much time as when he submitted to learn of the crow.
*To create a little flower is the labour of ages.
*Prayers plow not! Praises reap not!.
*Joys laugh not! Sorrows weep not!
*Improvement makes strait roads, but the crooked roads without Improvement are roads of Genius.
*Sooner murder an infant in its cradle than nurse unacted desires.

Ah! Then they can only be interpreted within the framework of William Blake's philosophy and metaphysics. He was never a favourite of mine.
As I implied, none of these aphorisms seem to have caught on. :)

Prayers are useless. You can't plow a field by praying, ie. nothing practical is achieved through praying. (I agree with this one).
Praising does not bring forth anything. I think this still refers to praising God. But praising talented people can actually encourage production.
