I'd like to know which is correct. 0 grams or 0 gram?

Zero grams.

Zero grams of ....

The only number that takes the singular in such contexts is 1. Anything above or below that, even by a decimal point, takes the plural.

0 grams
0.3 grams
0.7 grams
1 gram
1.1 grams
1.6 grams

Also -1.

-1° C. (minus/negative one degree Celsius.)

I can't think of many occasions on which I'd feel the need to talk of 'zero grams'.

People failing to score drugs may want to.

Or if you're marketing a "diet" beverage (zero g sugar).

Or any kind of nutritional information, but especially carbs, sugar, and fat.

Unsuccessful dieters too.

Unsuccessful dieters too.

I think even the most obsessive of dieters would struggle to know whether they had lost/gained just a single gram!

That would depend on the quality of the equipment they weigh themselves on. Such equipment would terrify me.
